A few years ago Rosie got a tattoo on her arm. The design is hugely significant for her and it’s an important part of who she is. But her father, who she doesn’t see often, is very much against tattoos or piercings of any kind. Every time Rosie has visited him she has had to wear long sleeves, terrified that they might ride up and blow her cover. Her dilemma – how to keep her tattoo secret from her dad but without raising his suspicions by continually wearing jumpers and long sleeves, even on the hottest days.
The answer has come in the form of Veil Cover Cream. Rosie contacted Veil during the Veil Tattoo Challenge to try a free sample. She was due to visit her dad and wanted to cover her tattoo and risk wearing short sleeves. She said: “If I pull this one off it will be amazing”.
Rosie runs Chartwell Beauty in Surrey and has a massive interest in make-up. Originally an accountant, she retrained in beauty to follow her dream to work in the industry. She has used Veil as a bridal and evening make-up but had never thought of using it to cover her tattoo. She was nervous and apprehensive that her father would discover her secret but the cream didn’t let her down and he didn’t notice a thing.
She now has the confidence to use Veil as a tattoo concealer and can look forward to meeting her dad without having to layer up the clothes. She says that the feeling is, “liberating”.
